At the Odonata Foundation, we are committed to keeping the Great Australian Wildlife Search accessible to all citizen scientists. Our goal is to increase the scope of our sampling efforts across Australia, providing crucial data to drive future conservation initiatives. Achieving this, however, requires substantial support from both government bodies and corporate partners.
Cost and Coverage
It costs $400 to manage each sampling site, encompassing site identification, mapping, staffing, promotion, recruitment of citizen scientists, testing, lab analysis, and reporting. As we continue our work primarily in the Murray–Darling Basin, we are also eager to expand our reach. We welcome discussions about potential sponsorship opportunities, regardless of geographic location.
